Motorsport America caught up with Mason Massey today before the start of qualifying for the Ag-Pro 300 at the Talladega Superspeedway.
The Douglasville, Georgia native is set to drive the Fan Controlled VictoryChain.io SS Greenlight Racing No. 14 Chevrolet Camaro tomorrow at the iconic racetrack.
Mason developed a love for winning early in his career, racking up over 200 career wins, more than 10 championships and multiple track record throughout his racing career.
He currently is a full-time driver in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Young’s Motorsports No. 02 Chevrolet Silverado for Anderson Power Services and BRUNT Workwear.
Earlier this month, fans overwhelmingly voted for Mason to be the Fan-Controlled Driver for tomorrow’s race.
Mason told Motorsport America today that he was excited to be back driving in the Xfinity Series and he added that he wanted to thank all the fans who voted for him at Fan Controlled Racing.
Mason said that he was excited to work with SS Greenlight Racing and racing for the fans at one of NASCAR’s most iconic tracks!
