One of the best weekends of the year greeted racers at Road Atlanta for the 16th Annual American Road Race of Champions Presented by Grassroots Motorsports.  Clear skies and mild temperatures made for perfect track conditions.  The racing and the parties were some of the best in recent memory.  Results have been posted in the ARRC section at www.atlantascca.org/arrc/2009-arrc-results.html

Congrats to Solo Nationals Drivers

When the ProSolo and Solo Championships closed September 11th, Atlanta Region drivers took away 14 Trophies.  Congrats to these folks and the 30+ drivers who trekked to Lincoln, Nebraska to compete and represent Atlanta at the events.  Read more to see the list and some pics from the action.

Tim SmithDuring the first event, the ProSolo competition, Tim Smith took the top step of the podium in the Street Touring (ST) class during the ProSolo Finale/Overall Series Championship.

Matt GlagolaIn the Solo National Champion- ships we had four other class champions, Bill Bounds in ST, Matt Glagola in Street Touring Sport, Karen Krauss in E Street Prepared Ladies and Alex Muresan in D Stock.
