Motorsport Nationals Brought All Things Motorsport to AMS
Bringing all things motorsports to Atlanta Motor Speedway for one weekend, the Motorsports Nationals show descended upon the Speedway Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19 and 20. The Motorsports Nationals show was an all-inclusive expose in motorsports at one of racing's premier palaces in the Southeast, Atlanta Motor Speedway.
The two-day event featured drifting, audio competitions, burnout contests, live music from seven bands, freestyle motocross, stunt shows, a track cruise, seminars, RC drag racing at more than 100 mph, a vendor midway and much more. In addition to the scheduled events, more than 600 trophies were awarded in over 200 classes of cars. Car shows at the event were open to all classes of vehicle, including imports, classis, hot rods, trucks, exotics, motorcycles and big rig trucks, among others.
Notable among the events were performances by Roush Performance Drifting and Team FMX East, in addition to hot laps with the Buck Baker Racing School, who took fans around the high banks of Atlanta Motor Speedway at more than 170 mph!
