HSR: Historic Sportscar Racing at Road Atlanta
Today, motorsports attracts the largest number of spectators in the sporting world; more than baseball, football and the PGA. Historic racing series such as HSR represent the fastest growing segment of motorsports in the United States and Europe.
In HSR, the cars are the stars, and spectators are treated to prior winners of great events such as the 12 Hours of Sebring, 24 Hours of Le Mans and 24 Hours of Daytona. Events are as educationals as they are adrenaline-inducing, as fans are exposed to pieces of history at the track.
The weekend of August 21-23, spectators enjoyed the annual event at Road Atlanta. We featured just a few of the photos our MSA photographers took that day, here are the rest.
