Tony Stewart Featured on Gresham Motorsports Park Garage Talk this Week

JEFFERSON, Ga. -- Tony Stewart is one of the featured guests this week on Gresham Motorsports Park Garage Talk.

Stewart, who tested his NASCAR Sprint Cup car at GMP recently, is part of the 30-minute television show that is produced by and aired on JBTV54 in Commerce, GA. The show is hosted by JBTV54’s Dave Wiley.

Also on this week’s GMP Garage Talk is an interview with Georgia racing great Tommy Irvin. Irvin will be one of the many Peach State racing legends on hand this Saturday when the track hosts Georgia Racing Hall of Fame Night. The event, the first since Gresham Motorsports Park was named the Official Track of the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame, will feature the induction class of 2009, an autograph session and a vintage race car show.

The Saturday, May 15 racing program at GMP will be highlighted by the CARQUEST 100 – a 100-lap Pro Late Model feature. The action-packed evening will also feature main events in the Outlaw Late Model, Renegade Street Stock, Mini Stock and Truck divisions.

It’ll also be Round Two of the Funopolis FanTastic Challenge, where fans will compete in go karts for prizes, bragging rights and a chance to compete in the World Crown 300 Funopolis FanTastic Challenge Championship on Sunday, November 14.

Adult Grandstand and Trackside General Admission Tickets for this Saturday’s CARQUEST 100 show at GMP are just $20, Seniors and Active Military Personnel are $18 while Children 6-12 are $10. Children 5 and under will be admitted free and, as always, parking is free.

Tickets are available now online at http://greshammotorsportspark.ticketforce.com/ and at the Gresham Motorsports Park track ticket office Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

A limited number of Trackside Car, Pick-Up Truck and Van Parking Spaces (no oversize vehicles) are available on a first-come, first-served basis on Saturday, May 15 for $25 per vehicle.

Spectator and Trackside Gates open at 2 p.m.
