Blue Ridge
Car Show
Saturday: May 10, 2008
If you didn't
make it to this annual event you missed a great time. The mountain
town of Blue Ridge, GA is one of the most perfect places to hold
a car show. Main Street runs along the Blue Ridge Scenic railroad
that goes through town, and the cars are lined up for display for
at least a half a mile. The city park, between Main Street and the
railroad, is a cool, shady place to rest or picnic after taking
a look at the cars.
The local car
club had a cookout, music and awards for the best cars. MSA estimates
there were at least 150 cars entered into the show.
If you want
to catch this car show next year, just remember that they hold it
on the Saturday before Mother's Day!
