Rate Your Crate: Big Weekend for Crate Late Models

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Racefans in the South will get to RATE THEIR CRATE racers this weekend as a pair of Crate Late Model events will invade the Georgia and Tennessee area dirt tracks. Friday night (April 17th) Boyd’s Speedway in the Ringgold/Chattanooga area is contending it’s first of four (4) KING of CRATE CHALLENGE races, paying $2,500. to-WIN. The following night the dirt track up Interstate 75 in Cleveland, Tennessee hosts the Top Tracks Crate Challenge series, promoted by racing legend B.J. Parker.

The event Saturday night (April 18th) pays $2,000. to-WIN, offering a close to a $5,000. payday possible between the two track, if one lucky racer wins both. The tracks are separated by less than 25 miles and many teams are looking forward to both races. The TTCC series has only one (1) event under it’s belt (from Green Valley Speedway in AL), while Boyd’s has three (3) races of unsanctioned Crate Late Model competition so far this season.
