National Speedway Revamps 2010 Racing Divisions
Braselton, GA (February 3, 2010) - Officials with Lanier National Speedway announced they have made a unanimous decision to revamp the 2010 racing divisions. Local street stock and open wheel modified divisions will not return to the 2010 LNS NASCAR Weekly schedule, but will be making several appearances to the 3/8th’s mile asphalt oval during the year. “We appreciate the racers and crews from the street stock and open wheel modified divisions. It’s always a tough decision when it’s time to cut divisions, but we sincerely appreciate every one’s dedication, time, and hard work that the teams have put together in these divisions in the past years,” said LNS. “Although they will not be a part of the weekly division, we will be running them in selected events in 2010, with more information on those events forth coming in the upcoming weeks.” The next event at Georgia’s NASCAR Home Track will be February 27th when the Legends, Bandoleros, Pro Challenge, and more divisions tackle the 3/8th’s mile oval for the Georgia Winter Flurry race. More information and details will be released within the upcoming weeks.
