2009 Bama Bash one of the biggest weekends ever at Green Valley Speedway

Glencoe, AL, February 22, 2009: Despite the cold wind and cooler temperatures, the atmosphere was hot at the 12^th Annual Bama Bash at Green Valley Speedway. The Fans were electric, as some of the biggest names in dirt track racing took to the red-clay oval.  Ronnie Johnson, the Chattanooga Flash, from Chattanooga,TN was the star of the day taking both the Crate Late Model and the Limited Late Model races, and finished 7^th in the Super Late Models.

   Ray Cook, the Tarheel Tiger, from Brasstown, NC won the biggest prize of the day, the Bama Bash Super Late Model feature race.  Cook also finished 6th in the Crate Late Model race.

   Jimmy Hiett from Lincoln, Al held off Nascar driver Ken Schrader in the final laps to claim the Open Wheel victory.
