zMAX Dragway @ Concord
2009 Schedule Released
CONCORD, N.C. -- Following
an unprecedented successful opening in September 2008, zMAX Dragway will
begin the 2009 season on March 5, with the first Open Test and Tune session
of the year. The first full year of events at the Bellagio of drag strips
is highlighted by the second annual NHRA Nationals in September and the
filming of SPEED Channel's popular show PINKS All Out in April. Read

SpeedFest
Double Could Mean $10,000 Bonus at Lanier
The buzz
about the sixth-annual running of SpeedFest, January 23rd through 25th
at Georgia’s Lanier National Speedway, has been building since the announcement
of the event earlier this month. Officials from the CRA Super Series (CRA)
and the Georgia Asphalt Series (GAS) have teamed up to present the biggest
Super Late Model and Pro Late Model event of the early portion of 2009.
SpeedFest 2009 will feature a 200-lap CRA Super Late Model event as well
as a 100-lap GAS-sanctioned Pro Late Model feature, plus other exciting
racing action throughout the weekend. Read

Chili Bowl Entry Count Climbs to 223
TULSA,
Okla. -- The cast of competitors being assembled for the 23rd Annual Lucas
Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals presented by General Tire just keeps getting
tougher with each passing day. In just the past couple of days, names
such as Gardner, Drake, Hatton, Cottle, Kaeding, Crawley, Altig, Pedregon
and more have been added to the list of drivers entered for the event
that takes place at the QuikTrip Center's Tulsa Expo Raceway on January
