Wars in LaGrange
Sunday,
November 2nd, at LaGrange Dragway, Stunt World USA presented the Street
Wars Race & Car Show. A record number of folks showed up for the event
which featured an "old school" Street Car Showdown with a flag
man and a Shock Suspension Shoot-Out.
There
were cash prizes for all winners in all categories which included 4-Wheeler,
Bike, Street Car and Stock Suspension. See

The
Corvette Cruisers of Atlanta celebrated the very first Fall Bow Tie Festival
While the doubtful
weather may have discouraged some from attending, the arrival of the sun
brought out the die-hard car show people out. When registration was closed
we had registered 72 Chevrolet Cars and Trucks which was just short of
the author's expectations of 75 cars, which by all accounts is a very
good turn out for our club's very first Car Show. See

American Road Race of Champions November 7-9, 2008 at Road Atlanta
The biggest SCCA amateur
sports car race of the season at Road Atlanta is the American Road Race
of Champions, which happened on Nov. 7-9. More than 400 competitors from
30+ states were expected to compete in the season-ending championship

Takes Victory, Fleeman Championship In Hedman Husler Hedders 100 at Peach
State
Jefferson, GA - October
5, 2008 - It was a historic night for the Georgia Asphalt Series as they
wrapped up their 2008 season at Peach State Speedway Saturday night, and
crowned their 2008 champion. A
determined Dennis Wilder, from nearby Commerce, GA, drove hard in the
closing laps, and passed Kyle Fowler with two laps remaining to win his
first GAS series event in the Hedman Husler Hedders 100. And 2007 GAS
champion Russell Fleeman held a 30 point lead over Ryan Sieg coming into
the final event.

Late Model Fall Nationals Set for Three Days of Hardcore
Racing Action

Ala. -- Deep South Speedway will play host to the Late Model Fall Nationals
during three days of wide open racing action set for the middle of November,
featuring some of the strongest Super Late Model talent from across the
country battling at the lightning fast high-banked oval near the Gulf
Coast. The featured events will offer race fans a chance to watch the
high-horsepowered Super Late Models battle door-to-door in three-wide
racing action lap after lap at mind boggling speeds on the exciting short
track located just north of Interstate 10 halfway between Mobile, Alabama
and Pensacola, Florida. A star-studded field of super late model entries
from all over the southeastern United States are expected to gun it out
over the special racing weekend at the track known for its multi-groove

you’re coming off of a career best run at the season finale of the PASS
series national tour at the Greenville-Pickens Speedway just a few weeks
ago, what is a young Texas racer to do to prepare for his next and final

in Jefferson, GA for the 25th running of the World Crown 300 this Saturday

State's World Crown this Weekend: Nov 6 - 9, 2008

The
25th Anniversary of the World Crown weekend promises to be the biggest
ever. Drivers are expected to come to Peach State Speedway to take on
the challenge from through out the nation on November 6th-9th. Drivers
from New York, Colorado, Wisconsin, Maine and through out the Southeast
have already entered. There will be 3 days of racing. The World Crown
event has a rich history of winners. Three time NASCAR Winston Cup Champion
and former Peach State Speedway track promoter Darrell Waltrip has won
the World Crown event twice. In addition, ASA drivers Dick Trickle, Mike
Eddy, and Rich Bickle have taken wins. Read

Super Late Model at Boyd's. "We are thankful for the opportunity to support
