went from worst to first after starting at the tail end of the field
and then rolled the dice on a short pit stop, stretching his fuel

Import Nights/NOPI SuperShow at AMS July 31-August 1. 2010
NOPI has made
a comeback and according the organization "the players have
changed, but the game remains the same."
The two day
event had all the things we have come to expect when NOPI is involved:
a car show, swimsuit contest, car clubs and drag racing. There
was a Gymkhana: it can best be summed up as a hybrid of autocross
and drifting.

Two
NASCAR Nationwide Series Races Confirmed For Iowa Speedway In 2011
Iowa
Speedway officials have confirmed that the Newton oval track facility
will host two NASCAR Nationwide Series races in 2011. The highly-anticipated
events will ‘bookend’ the track’s racing season next year, with
the first 250-lap contest scheduled for Sunday afternoon May 22,
and the second 250-lapper slated on Saturday evening, August 6.
“We couldn’t
be more thrilled to have a second NASCAR Nationwide Series race

Bodine
Tames Darlington
by Pete McCole
When it comes
to racing at a track called “Too Tough To Tame”, experience makes
all the difference.
Todd Bodine
drew on everything he’d learned in 38 career starts at Darlington
Raceway and rolled home to his second straight victory in Saturday’s
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series “Too Tough To Tame” 200,
Bodine inherited
the lead after rookie Austin Dillon gave up the lead to pit on lap
101 and ran the final 71 laps on a single tank of fuel, passing
up two more chances to pit over the last 47 laps to beat out Timothy
Peters by .531 seconds for his 20th career victory.
Ron Hornaday
finished third, followed by Johnny Sauter and Dillon.
